We acknowledge the land on which we walk from Boorloo the land of the Whadjuk people to the Bibbulmun Menang, who have been here for thousands of years.

With gratitude we pay our respects to our Elders, the Elders of this boodja – this land – who cultivated and sustained this country for millennia.

Generation upon generation have walked here before us.  Families nurtured the land as they nurtured their own children.  Elders taught young ones the ancient knowledge of this country and guiding the way.

We honour the ancient spirit of this land, and we hope this spirit may guide and protect us as we work on Nyoongar Bibbulmun boodja.

It is a privilege to live and work here, walking together as one.

Wortkoorl means ‘moving forward’ together in the Noongar Bibbulmun language.
